			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Kirklees Shadow Health and Wellbeing Board is developing the first Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy (JHWS) for Kirklees. It sets out our vision for improving the health and wellbeing of local people and reducing inequalities at every stage of people’s lives by 2020. The Board wants to engage a wide range of people during May, June and July 2012 to increase awareness of the purpose and content of the Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy (JHWS); and to give people the opportunity to comment on the draft JHWS. The draft version of the JHWS is available <span style="color: #99ccff;"><a href="http://bit.ly/KvHvh1" target="_blank"><span style="color: #99ccff;">at this website</span></a></span>. The Community Music scheme will fund grass roots music making and performing groups. Not-for-profit groups throughout the UK are encouraged to apply for this fund and there is no limit to the type of music that they play. Existing community groups which are looking for funding to reach new and wider audiences, attract new members and carry out training may apply for grants of up to £5,000 for distinct development projects and up to £10,000 to commission new music.
